Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is a service to request materials not found in OSU Libraries (Valley, Guin, and OSU-Cascades) from other national and international libraries. This service is available for currently registered OSU students, and current HMSC faculty and staff.

Because OSU Libraries pays for the cost of providing materials from other libraries, your local public library provides ILL services for non-academic needs, residents, and businesses.

Everyone Gets to Register

OSU faculty, staff and students (including courtesy faculty & CIMRS) must have an ONID account before registering for ILL service. For help, phone OSU Computer Helpdesk at (541) 737-3474 or email them at .

Please ask the Guin Library staff for help with this if you are having any trouble; the process can be a bit frustrating.

Once you have your ONID account and know your Onid username and password, you are ready to register for Interlibrary Loan service. Simply fill out and submit the electronic form.

Non-OSU people associated with HMSC do not need to have an ONID account to register for ILL service. They may simply register by filling out this form and submitting it.
