Access to the Guin Library

The Guin Library is open 8 to 5 weekdays except for major holidays. Summer interns in OSU programs may request after hours access.

Scanning and Copying
There are two photocopy machines as well as a stand-laone scanner. One of the photocopiers also scans and sends pdfs to your email.  Copies  are 10 cents per copy while scans are free. Talk to the library staff about setting up an account.

Computers, Printers and Wireless
Five computers in the front section of the library  are available for your use. If you have an ONID account, you can use the ones in the back of the library as well as the two by the beginning of the book stacks.  There is a printer at the Circulation Desk and some of the public computers print to the photocopier.
We have two wireless networks: HMSC Public is open to everyone, OSU Access is open to OSU only.

Checking Out Materials
Use the self checkout system located on the counter as you enter the library. You will need to register with us to get a library number (unless you are already an OSU student). You can renew your checked-out items online at: https://oasis.oregonstate.edu/patroninfo/
