You can use interlibrary loan to request and obtain items not found in OSU Libraries (Valley, Guin, and OSU-Cascades) or in the Summit catalog.
Interlibrary loan (ILL) is available to:
OSU Libraries pay for the cost of providing materials from other libraries; your local public library, however, provides ILL services for non-academic needs, residents and businesses.
ILL is for items that OSU does not own: books, master's theses, selected dissertations, and photocopies of a specific journal article or conference proceeding article.
Many reference materials, textbooks, recordings, videocassettes, and whole volumes of journals are not available due to the policies of the lending library, but it is highly recommended that requests be submitted regardless of material type.
