Parke D. Snavely, Jr., an eminent geologist with the U.S. Geological Survey, did important work in geologic mapping, explored much of the stratigraphy of the Pacific Northwest Coast, and named many formations. He was an avid reader and collector who maintained the extensive reprint collection cataloged in the Snavely Bibliography. The collection is international with a high concentration of classic work on the geology of the Pacific Northwest, both on land and offshore. It is for this local interest that we make this bibliography available. The reprints listed here are shelved in the Guin Library by accession number. Ask library staff for assistance if you are interested in a publication.

When applicable and not already included in the title, notes are formatted as:  Geographic location; geologic formations; time period(s).
