Keyword Terms
At least one of five broad subject terms (biological, chemical, geological, physical, general, or taxonomical) is used on every entry. More specific keywords are listed beneath the broad subject terms, although they are not necessarily tied to the broader terms in the database.
If there is sufficient data included in the document, the term "data" is attached to the keyword.
Unfortunately, consistency across all documents was not always possible with some of the most narrow keywords. Some of those narrow keyword terms (i.e. pH data and seafood processing) were also added at a later date. We attempted to apply these newer keywords to the earlier entries but there are certainly some that were overlooked. Please let us know if you come across such a discrepancy, and keep these facts in mind as you structure your searches.
